Dear Readers,

Graduation night has come and gone, which means it is time for me to say my final farewell.

I can honestly say that I have enjoyed my time here as a student and the editor of the theonlineexpress.com.

Although I will leave here saddened from my separation from UW-Richland, I am excited to face my next challenge at UW-Eau Claire.

My only hope is that I can represent UW-Richland like it rightfully deserves.

In the past I felt the Express was a bit unprofessional and wasn't reflective of the journalistic process. At the beginning of the year our goal was to move from a paper version to a more modern day medium that would allow fast updating and allow the students to interact on current news.

We have made leaps and bounds, sadly there is much left undone but I am confident that the Express will continue to impress and awe, while living up to professional journalistic standards with Antonio Thomas Jr. as Editor.

In the past year Antonio Thomas has proven that not only can he write but that he possesses the leadership skills and enthusiasm to drive the Express like a train to success.

So even though this is goodbye, I leave you in good able hands to continue to be the voice of the news.

I challenge everyone at UW-Richland to ask questions and when you don't receive a simple answer, continue to ask until you receive the response that best answers the question. Sometimes to get positive changes you need to step on some shoes to get the wheels moving.

I want to thank Robert Gutsche Jr. for teaching me the ropes of journalism and allowing me to grow as a leader and to all my Express Staff that had to listen to me complain and whine on a daily basis.

Outside my newspaper world I want to thank Professor Dresser for always challenging me and John Poole, because damnit, Poole is pretty cool for an old guy.

I bid you all Adeu and good luck in all your endeavors.
